Day 01 Shanghai Arrival

Take flight/train to Shanghai , upon arrival you will meet by your driver and guide , then transfer to hotel for check in, after a short break ,start the sightseeing-

  • The Bund, stroll along The Bund, Shanghai's iconic waterfront promenade, offering stunning views of the historic colonial architecture and the futuristic skyscrapers across the Huangpu River. This picturesque area is a testament to Shanghai's rich history and rapid modernization, making it a must-visit destination that perfectly captures the essence of the city
  • The Shanghai Tower, the world's second-tallest building in 2018, is 127 stories or 632 meters (2,073 feet) tall and is a premier Shanghai tourist highlight.

Day 02 Shanghai City Deep Exploration

Today's activities :

  • Shanghai Museum, is famous for its large collection of rare cultural pieces. The museum now houses over 120,000precious historical relics in twelve categories, including Chinese bronze, ceramics, paintings, furniture, calligraphy, seals, jades, ancient coins, and sculptures
  • Yu Garden is believed to have been built in the Ming Dynasty, more than 400 years ago. The exquisite layout, beautiful scenery, and the artistic style of the garden architecture have made the garden one of the highlights of Shanghai.
  • Shikumen&Xintiandi, Shanghai Xintiandi is a stylish pedestrian road made of Shikumen houses and up-to-date building styles. It has developed an urban traveller attraction that combines the past with the culture of today.
    The Shanghai Xintiandi is very unique due to its ideal building construction. It holds the traditional walls, tiles plus the outer of Shikumen housing of ancient Shanghai. Instead of this, its interior embodies a completely different world of international galleries, bars, cafes, boutiques and themed cafes. When you visit Xin Tian Di, you will experience the flavour both of Shanghai in the 1920's and the auditory current lifestyle of citizens of 21st century. Xintiandi also stands out as an entertainment complex housed in reconstructed, modified houses of Shanghai.
  • Huangpu River Cruise,experience the enchanting beauty of Shanghai from the water with a Huangpu River Cruise. This scenic journey offers unparalleled views of the city's stunning skyline, including The Bund's historic colonial buildings on one side and the modern skyscrapers of Pudong on the other. As you glide along the river, you'll witness the vibrant lights and dynamic architecture that define Shanghai, making it a memorable highlight of your trip

Day 03 Shanghai-Suzhou

Take train from Shanghai to Suzhou, you will be picked up by your driver and guide, then transfer to hotel for check in

After a short break , start the sightseeing -

  • Pingjiang Road,located in the center of Suzhou City, Pingjiang Road is the largest and best-preserved historical block in Suzhou. It’s a 1.6km-long (about 1mi) narrow road along the old canal, Pingjiang River, still maintaining its ancient Chinese water town features.
  • Master of the Nets Gardenis the smallest yet the most delicate landscape garden in Suzhou City.
    We will visit the garden at night , it presents another scene at night. Lanterns light up in the garden, highlighting the contours of the pavilions, terraces and corridors of the garden. Performers dressed in local ancient costumes stage various shows, such as Kunqu Opera (Suzhou Opera), folk singing and dancing and instrumental playing. Interesting thing is these performances are staged in different halls, pavilions or chambers, so that when you walk into another room, it will be a different show.

Day 04 Suzhou Leaving
  •  In the morning start with an interesting visit to Humble Administrator’s Garden, one of the Four Greatest Gardens in China as well as the largest and most grandiose one among all Suzhou Gardens. The Classical Gardens of Suzhou was listed as the World Heritage Site in 1997 because “the gardens of Suzhou” represent the development of Chinese landscape garden design over more than two thousand years", and they are the "most refined form" of garden art”, according to UNESCO. Among all the Suzhou Gardens, Humble Administrators’ Garden is the largest one in Suzhou and is considered by some to be the finest garden in all of southern China. It is an artistic combination of buildings, ponds, bridges, paths and trees arranged in a specific manner. Scenic, peaceful and eloquent, everything in the garden tells a story of the past time
  • In the afternoon go ahead to visit Tongli Water Town ,it is famous all over the world as a water town to the south of the Yangtze River. Its rivers, streets, bridges, civil residences, and gardens are integrated perfectly as one, earning it the name of "the Oriental Venice" due to its unique water town scenery.

Then transfer back to Suzhou or Shanghai for train/flight to next destination , we wish you a pleasant journey !
