Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in the morning. Walking at leisure through the bamboo-framed paths and closely observe giant pandas of different ages eating bamboos, playing with each other, tumbling, and climbing trees.

In the afternoon ,a two-hour drive from Chengdu, head to Leshan Giant Buddha.  Carved into a cliff face during the Tang Dynasty, it is the largest stone Buddha in the world and the tallest pre-modern statue in existence.

In 1996, the Leshan Giant Buddha was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognizing its historical and cultural significance.

We will visit the Leshan Giant Buddha on a sightseeing boat. This will let you view the Buddha from a distance and get a panoramic view of it.Also can walk along the plank pathways to enjoy the changing view from various angles of the Buddha, from its head to its foot. 

Overnight in Chengdu

From Chengdu, we will take the newly opened high-speed rail to the depths of Aba.After about 2 hours' train, arrive at Zhenjiangguan Station, our guide and driver will pick you up from the train and then 45min drive to Mounigou Scenic Area .

Mounigou Scenic Area, located in the Minshan Mountain range of Songpan County in Sichuan Province, China, is a stunning natural reserve known for its breathtaking landscapes, rich biodiversity, and unique geological formations. It is part of the larger Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site

There are two parts of the whole area:

- Zhaga Waterfall,this is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the region, with a height of 93.2 meters (305 feet) and a width of 35-40 meters (115-130 feet). The waterfall cascades down terraced rock formations, creating a magnificent sight. The water is crystal clear, and the surrounding forest enhances the natural beauty of the scene.

- Erdaohai Lake which consists of a series of beautiful alpine lakes, each with its own unique color ranging from emerald green to sapphire blue. This area also known for its hot springs, where visitors can see bubbling geothermal activity.

After the visiting drive 2 hour to overnight in Jiuzhaigou

Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area is a remarkable destination that combines natural splendor with cultural richness, offering an unforgettable experience for visitors. Its pristine lakes, cascading waterfalls, and vibrant autumn colors make it one of China’s most treasured natural wonders.

The name Jiuzhaigou means "Nine Village Valley" referring to the nine Tibetan villages located within the park. These villages add a cultural dimension to the natural beauty, with traditional Tibetan architecture, prayer flags, and stupas.Visitors can experience Tibetan culture, including local crafts, dances, and religious practices here

Toay we will visit Jiuzhaigou's three main valleys: Shuzheng Valley, Rize Valley, and Zechawa Valley. There, waiting for your appreciation, is the picturesque natural scenery of clear alpine lakes, overlapping waterfalls, colorful forests, snowcapped mountains, and blue ice.

Private vehicles are not allowed inside, so your guide will expertly direct you in taking the shuttle buses in the scenic area and touring around. A buffet lunch can be arranged in Nuorilang Restaurant, which is the only restaurant in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. If you like, we could arrange a picnic lunch instead.

& The Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area is located in a mountainous region with varying altitudes. The altitude of Jiuzhaigou Valley itself ranges from approximately 2,000 meters (6,600 feet) to 4,500 meters (14,800 feet) above sea level

Vulnerability to altitude sickness varies from person to person, so it's suggested you consult your doctor prior to your trip. Anyone with heart disease or high blood pressure should be particularly careful and take precautions when traveling to Jiuzhaigou. Also a breathing condition, like asthma or a cold, can make mild altitude sickness feel far worse.

While there, it's advisable not to do any really strenuous exercise, or to drink wine. Keep warm and eat plenty of fruit and vegetables.
